Sourabh is a post-doc with expertise in both theoretical and experimental quantum optics.His research in the QCloud Lab is focused on quantum memories and quantum microwave-to-optics transducers, pertinent for long-distance quantum communication.

During his Ph.D. with Dr. Christoph Simon, he investigated photonic aspects of networks in different physical systems. He, with his team created a theoretical design for a long-distance quantum network with superconducting processors and optical links. In addition, he explored the possibility of the existence of an optical network in the human brain.
