Ashutosh Singh is an experimental quantum physicist. He joined Quantum Cloud lab as a Post-Doctoral Associate in Sept 2021. His research interests include the preparation and characterization of quantum light sources, studies of quantum entanglement, decoherence in quantum systems, and the development of quantum key distribution systems. Ashutosh obtained a PhD degree in Physics under the guidance of Prof. Urbasi Sinha at Quantum Information and Computing Lab, Light and Matter Physics Group, Raman Research Institute-Bangalore, India. His doctoral thesis was based on the creation, characterization, and manipulation of quantum entanglement in a photonic system. Prior to this, he obtained a Master’s degree in Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology-Delhi and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Physics from the Institute of Science- BHU, Varanasi.
